On Sunday 11^th November, there was an early 9.30am start for the 2^nd Borders League Race, at Upton, Cheshire. This a fast 5 mile course know for its PB’s, despite heavy rain overnight the course was bright and fresh with good running conditions. Six men and four ladies from Abergele Harriers competed. In the men’s team: 5^th Josh Dixon 26:40; 49^th Darren Blazier 29:49; 59^th Craig Jones 30:09; 209^th Nick Foden 35:36; 215^th Darren Battersby 35:53; 295^th Grahame Shone 39:10. In the ladies team first back in 160^th place Rachel Shipley 34:07; 207^th Emma Collins 35:30; 314^th Chris Birch 39:56; 378^th Lorraine Nesbitt 44.18.
