Majestic Travel Cross Country League.
Round 2; Colwyn Bay, 10/9/2004 .
There was an excellent turn out of sever runners for the second round of the Majestic Travel North Wales Cross Country league with two runners running the discipline for the first time for the club. Team spirit was excellent on the day with cross country debutant Rob Spotswood coming home as third team member with an excellent time of 40mins 3 seconds, for 79th position overall. Chris , also making his club debut over grass, also ran excellently, finishing in 42mins 38secs for 100th position. Ed Reid and Alan Lucas were both running the Anglesey Marathon the following day, but showed true club loyalty by turning out excellent performances of 40mins 29secs ( 81st) and 48mins 34secs (127th) respectively. First Harrier on the day over the very heavy four lap course was Sean Mc Cormack, in 36mins 20secs, for his best position to date in a cross country league race. Not far behind, in 37mins 56secs, was Richie Lee for 49th position overall, with Grahame Shone’s 40mins 44secs gaining him a superb 84th overall, ensuring a very creditable 417 points for the club.
