Abergele Harriers hosted the 4^th round of the Borders Road Running League on Sunday. 13 harriers lined up with over 300 runners taking part in the fast and flat 5 mile race along the seafront at Pensarn.

 Richard Wilyman led the team home in 30m 26s for 54^th overall followed by Richie Lee running 32m 57s for 104^th. Ed Reid finished in 34m 37s for 144^th with Andrew Mercer crossing the line in 35m 42s for 167^th. Grahame Shone ran 36m 14s for 182^nd overall and 3^rd V60 just ahead of Dave Edwards finishing in 36m 39s for 192^nd. Tom Bancroft ran a personal best of 37m 23s for 207^th with Darren Battersby making his debut for the Harriers running 38m 28s for 225^th. John Essary completed the team with a run of 44m 39s for 300^th.

 Jeni Richards led the ladies home in 35m 11s for 153^rd overall, 14^th lady and 2^nd FV45. Carol Willgoose ran 36m 01s for 175^th overall, 21^st lady and 1^st FV50. Chris Birch finished in 37m 14s for 203^rd overall, 28^th lady and 1^st FV60. Rachel Shipley completed the ladies team with a run of 42m 15s for 279^th overall and 68^th lady.
