Abergele Harriers hosted the 4th round of the Borders Road Running League on Sunday. 13 harriers lined up with over 300 runners taking part in the fast and flat 5 mile race along the seafront at Pensarn.

 Richard Wilyman led the team home in 30m 26s for 54th overall followed by Richie Lee running 32m 57s for 104th. Ed Reid finished in 34m 37s for 144th with Andrew Mercer crossing the line in 35m 42s for 167th. Grahame Shone ran 36m 14s for 182nd overall and 3rd V60 just ahead of Dave Edwards finishing in 36m 39s for 192nd. Tom Bancroft ran a personal best of 37m 23s for 207th with Darren Battersby making his debut for the Harriers running 38m 28s for 225th. John Essary completed the team with a run of 44m 39s for 300th.

 Jeni Richards led the ladies home in 35m 11s for 153rd overall, 14th lady and 2nd FV45. Carol Willgoose ran 36m 01s for 175th overall, 21st lady and 1st FV50. Chris Birch finished in 37m 14s for 203rd overall, 28th lady and 1st FV60. Rachel Shipley completed the ladies team with a run of 42m 15s for 279th overall and 68th lady.
