Thirteen Abergele Harriers were among the 268 runners taking part in the final race of the Borders Road Running League held over a 4 mile course in Wrexham on the 22^nd April. 

John Morris led the team home in 22m 15s for 11^th overall. Ben Lightowler ran 22m 38s (19^th) followed by Darren Blazier finishing in 23m 15s (29^th) and Jodi Waters running 23m 29s (33^rd). Rob Armstrong ran 25m 33s (86^th) just ahead of James Salt running 26m 03s (98^th) and Mark Mayers finishing in 26m 31s (117^th). Darren Battersby ran 27m 25s (141^st) with John Jones finishing in 28m 40s (167^th) and Anthony Howe crossing the line in 31m 36s (231^st) to rounding off another strong team performance by the men.

Amy Owen-Jones led the ladies home in 28m 50s for 170^th overall with Rachel Shipley hot on her heels finishing in 28m 57s for 173^rd. Chris Birch ran 29m 55s for 199^th overall and first FV60.

Four harriers picked up category trophies for the season overall. Chris Birch produced her usual solid performances to win the FV60 category again. Darren Blazier was 4^th V40 with Rachel Shipley, having a fantastic season, taking 4^th in the Senior Women category. Jodi Waters was 9^th in the very competitive Senior Men category.

The men finished in an excellent 4^th position in the first division with the ladies finishing very well in 3^rd position in Division 2.
