Sunday 31^st March, an overcast and chilly morning for the Sixth Border League of the season at Hope, hosted by Buckley Running Club, despite the delayed start of 45 minutes due to technical details at the Leisure Centre, the measured 5 mile course commenced as the sun started to shine and temperatures rose for the runners, to produce great runs from many runners, Abergele Harriers had a full team, in the Men’s Team: Darren Blazier 51^st 29:48; Alan Ilsley 100^th 32:32; Simon Bonfield 135^th 34:45; Darren Battersby 149^th 34:45; John Jones 153^rd 35:32; Grahame Shone 215^th 38:30; Danny Snelson 235^th 39:28; the Ladies Team: Emma Collins 180^th 36:30; Rachel Shipley 193^rd 37:10; Chris Birch 263^rd 41:17’ Katie Bonfield 269^th 41.38 PB. Lorraine Nesbitt and Anthony Howe were part of the team but due to the late start were not able to complete.
