What a difference in the space of a month, cold and rain at Manley Mere in March to 21 degrees and bright sunshine in New Brighton. First home in 38th place was Darren Blazier in 30.33; followed in 52nd Richard Wilyman 31.24; 66th Jodi Waters 32.11; 70th James Salt 32.21; 122nd Rob Armstrong 35.05; 125th John Jones 35.13; 179th Grahame Shone 37.57; 255th Anthony Howe 42.15; 268th Alan Newell 44.06; the ladies was lead by first home 163rd Rachel Shipley 36.53 182nd Amy Owen-Jones 38.03; 235th Chris Birch 40.51. Border League Captain Darren for the Harriers was very pleased with the turn out and the good results in what was always going to be a well-contested race as the season comes to an end in a few weeks in Wrexham.
