Sunday saw the first fixture of this years Borders League.  Fifteen Harriers travelled to Tattenhall, near Chester, to compete alongside 350 other runners.  First Harrier in was Darren Blazier in 20th position in a time of 34:57.  He was followed by Richard Wilyman in 54th place, Jodi Waters in 76th and Ben Lightowler in 82nd place. Rob Armstrong completed the course in a time of 38:48 for 83rd place, closely followed by Mark Mayers in 39:37 (96th), James Salt in 40:21 (113th ) and Andrew Mercer in 41:22 (124th). Andy Simpson finished in 43:52 and 178th place, Anthony Howe in 44:30 (196th) and Graeme Shone in 45:52 (233rd place). First Women Harrier to finish was Carol Wilgoose in a time of 45:25 for 222nd place, followed by Rachel Shipley in 48:45 (264th), Paula Maguire in 50:00 (289th) and DeeDee Plamperova in a time of 57:25 for 330th place.
