Thirteen
Abergele Harriers took part in the 4th round of the Borders League on
Sunday. 10 men and 3 women joined a 270 strong field to run the 5.8 mile course
at Christleton, West Cheshire. Josh Dixon ran
another superb race to lead the Harriers home in 31m 54s for 7th
position overall. Simeon Fawcett, making his debut for the club, ran an
impressive 33m 50s for 23rd position. Darren Blazier finished in 34m
19s for 28th. Andy Simpson ran 37m 29s for 82nd with Mark
Mayers less than a minute behind in 38m 11s for 96th overall. Ed Reid
crossed the line in 40m 16s for 125th just 2 seconds ahead of Grahame
Shone in 40m 18s for 126th. Peter Hardy ran 48m 07s for 239th,
John Essary finished in 51m 20s for 252nd and Stevie Ward completed
the course in 1h 25m 06s in 270th. Jeni Richards led the ladies home
in 42m exactly for 157th position overall. Chris Birch ran 43m 11s
for 182nd overall and Sian Hall crossed the finish in 47m 19s for 236th
overall.
