Travel Cross Country League.
Round 1; Bangor, 25/9/2004 .
Despite excellent performances by all five Harriers who travelled to Bangor for the start of the Cross Country season, the team were denied the overall result they so richly deserved by being penalised 150 points for the absence of a vital 6th team member, resulting in an overall score of 450. First Harrier on the day, continuing his resent good form, was Sean Mc Cormack in 33mins and 5secs for the very testing 3 lap course, resulting in a very creditable 31st position overall. Hot on his heels in 33mins 59secs, for 43rd position was Richie Lee, only one week after completing the Bala Olympic Distance Triathlon. Cross-Country captain Ed Reid, was next home in 34mins 48secs for 53rd position, pushed all the way by Cross-country veteran Grahame Shone in 35mins 12secs and 58th position. Alan Lucas, well into his London to Brighton training, has next home in 42mins 38secs for 116th.
