A thirteen strong Harrier team took part in the 3rd round of the Borders Road Running league. 271 runners lined up in the rain for the 5.9 mile race at Tattenhall in Cheshire. Darren Blazier led the team home in 35m 26s for13th overall with Richard Wilyman, having his best Border League race to date running 36m 41s for 31st position. Mark Mayers finished in 40m 10s for 79th followed by Andy Simpson in 41m 55s for 111th and Anthony Howe in 42m 27s for 120th. Dave Edwards finished in 44m 12s for 152nd with Grahame Shone finishing in 46m 07s for 175th. Graham Arden, running his first Border League, and John Essary, who runs every Border League finished in 57m 08s for 261st and 57m 12s for 262nd respectively.

Jeni Richards led the ladies home in 43m 22s for 140th overall, 13th lady and 2nd FV45. Chris Birch ran 46m 05s for 174th overall, 23rd lady and 1st FV60. Rachel Shipley finished in 53m 58s for 244th overall and 61st lady followed by Lucy Curtis making her Border League running 54m 42s for 250th overall and 65th lady.
