A thirteen strong Harrier team took part in the 3^rd round of the Borders Road Running league. 271 runners lined up in the rain for the 5.9 mile race at Tattenhall in Cheshire. Darren Blazier led the team home in 35m 26s for13th overall with Richard Wilyman, having his best Border League race to date running 36m 41s for 31^st position. Mark Mayers finished in 40m 10s for 79^th followed by Andy Simpson in 41m 55s for 111^th and Anthony Howe in 42m 27s for 120^th. Dave Edwards finished in 44m 12s for 152^nd with Grahame Shone finishing in 46m 07s for 175^th. Graham Arden, running his first Border League, and John Essary, who runs every Border League finished in 57m 08s for 261^st and 57m 12s for 262^nd respectively.

Jeni Richards led the ladies home in 43m 22s for 140^th overall, 13^th lady and 2^nd FV45. Chris Birch ran 46m 05s for 174^th overall, 23^rd lady and 1^st FV60. Rachel Shipley finished in 53m 58s for 244^th overall and 61^st lady followed by Lucy Curtis making her Border League running 54m 42s for 250^th overall and 65^th lady.
