Nine Abergele Harriers took part in the second fixture of the North Wales Cross Country League held at St. Davids College, Llandudno on Saturday. Chris Birch led the ladies home in 24m 28s for 45th overall and 1st FV65. Sue Calvert ran 27m 52s for 72nd followed by Christobelle Pownall finishing in 29m 57s for 81st. Sonia Wignall completed the ladies team with a run of 31m 54s for 87th position.

Ben Lightowler led the men home in an excellent 36m 30s for 10th overall. Ben became only the second ever Abergele Harrier to get into the top ten in a cross country league race ever (the previous one was Simon Shiels who last achieved the feat in January 2004). Well done Ben, jumping into second in the all time Harriers list, leapfrogging in-front of Darren Blazier (11th in 2008), Geran Hughes (11th in 2007) and Sean McCormack (12th in 2008.
James Salt ran 41m 49s for 61st just ahead of Richie Lee finishing in 42m 31s for 69th position. Rob Armstrong crossed the line in 46m14s for 103rd with Dave Edwards running 49m 50s for 124th overall.
