On Sunday 11^th January, 14 Harriers were amongst the 320 runners who travelled to Birkenhead Park for the third fixture of the season in the Borders League.  The course consisted of four laps, a total distance of approximately 5.4 miles.

The first Harrier to finish in the Men's race was second claim member John Edward Morris, who finished in 16^th place overall in a time of 31:29.  He was followed by Darren Blazier in a time of 33:19 for 43^rd place, Jodi Waters in 33:41 (51^st) , Richard Wilyman in 34:53 (62^nd) and James Salt in 35:43 (86^th).

Mark Mayers completed the course in a time of 36:37 (102^nd), followed by Graeme Shone in 38:52 (136^th), Darren Battersby in 39:03 (142^nd), Rob Armstrong in 40:10 (152^nd), Vinny Wickham in 41:53 (181^st) and Anthony Howe who finished in 44:50 for 205^th position.

In the Women's race, Chris Birch finished in a time of 40:53 for 33^rd female and 1^st in her age category. She  was joined by Amy Owen-Jones in 41:39 (40^th Female and 9^th in her age category)) and Rachel Shipley in 43:41 (54th and 11th senior female).
