On Sunday 9^th October an Abergele Harriers team of thirteen men and two women travelled to Caernarfon to compete in first fixture in this seasons Borders League. 

First Harrier to complete the 10 km course was Ben Lightowler in 22^nd place in a time of 36:45, closely followed by Nick Foden in 32^nd place in a personal best time of 37:25, Richard Wilyman in 45^th position in 37:58 and Jodi Waters in 47^th  place in 38:02.

Darren Blazier was 83^rd in a time of 40:17, James Salt was 102^nd in 41:30, Pete Mould was 105^th in 41:35 and Gareth Evans finished in 128^th position in 42:54.

Mark Mayers was 150^th in 43:55, Darren Battersby was 174^th in 45:15, John Jones finished in 186^th in a time of 45:57. Grahame Shone was 196^th in 46:33 and Ben Garnett was 235^th in a time of 48:41

The first women Harrier to finish was Chris Birch in 236^th place overall and 49^th lady in a time of 48:46. She was followed by Paula Maguire in 256^th position overall and 56^th lady in a time of 49:57.

The men’s team ended 3^rd in Division 2, with the ladies 7^th.
