The first fixture of the North Wales Cross Country League was held on a fine and sunny day at Mold Alun School on Saturday 15th October. Three members of Abergele Harriers ran in the ladies race on a very undulating course. Chris Birch finishing 57th overall in 26:02 followed by Diane Jones who was 89th in a time of 29-30.  Sue Calvert finished 98th in 31:06, with the ladies team finishing 13th in Division to and 13th in the Ladies Masters League.

 

James Salt led the Harriers mens team home over a longer course in 86th  place with a time of 35:00, followed by Dan Williams who was 92nd

in 35:18.  Pete Mould was 105th in 35:46, followed by Mark Mayers in 38:07 for 147th position.  John Jones finished 161st in 39:38 and Darren Battersby ran 40:40 for 167th place. Ben Garnet closed the Harriers team in 41:45 and 175th place. The men finished 14th in Division two and 18th in the Male Masters League.
