Nine Abergele Harriers took part in the 3rd round of the Borders League on Sunday. 308 competitors tackled a wet and muddy 9.3k course at Christleton in West Cheshire. 

Darren Blazier led the team home in 33m 50s for 26th overall. Jodi Waters finished in 36m 12s for 70th followed by Grahame Shone crossing the line in 41m 02s for 170th.

Carol Willgoose led the harrier ladies home in 42m 32s for 202nd overall and 27th lady.

Chris Birch was hot on her heels finishing in 43m 15s for 211th overall, 29th lady and 1st LV60.

Anthony Howe ran 43m 58s for 273rd followed by Mark Mayers, in a welcome return following surgery, finishing in 49m 40s for 273rd.

The team was completed by Rachel Shipley, returning from injury, running 50m 52s for 283rd overall and 63rd lady and John Essary finishing in 53m 04s for 295th.
