After many months of ups and downs, bogs snd streams the 2019-20 Cross Country season came to a close at Oswesty, it was an emotional start to the race as the organisers and runner paid their respects to a great figure in the Cross Country world David Alun Williams who sadly passed away a few days ago, a fitting one minutes silence on the open fields, with all the runners silence in respect. Four Harriers raced: Tim Cahill, Simon Bonfield, Chris Birch, and myself.  It was a bright sunny day, soft underfoot with a few very boggy patches and water features to run through. A testing uphill, and a lovely downhill to the finish. Cross County captan Julie Owens said “It's been a great season, looking forward to next time”. Harriers team places: Senior Men: 86th Tim Cahill 40:19; 101st Simon Bonfield 41.53; Senior Women: 17th Julie Owens 22.29; 89th Chris Birth 28.10.
