Twelve Harriers, including 4 who had run cross country the previous day, were in Caernarfon on Sunday to compete over a 10k course in the opening race of this season’s Borders Road Running League.

Club Captain Darren Blazier was first harrier home in 36m 22s for 13^th overall. Richard Wilyman ran 38m 31s for 43^rd followed by Rob Armstrong finishing in 39m 16s for 53^rd and Mark Mayers running 43m 16s for 116^th. Andy Simpson crossed the line in 46m 35s for 173^rd just ahead of Anthony Howe running 46m 50s for 180^th and Grahame Shone finishing in 47m 36s for 190^th. Peter Hardy, John Essary and Graham Arden completed the men’s line up finishing in 55m 10s (243^rd), 57m 32s (254^th) and 59m 27s (259^th) respectively.

Chris Birch ran 47m 05s for 183^rd overall and 1^st FV 65 followed by Rachel Shipley finishing in 54m 11s for 238^th.
