COURSE FOR 2011
(Same as 2010)
Start at the bottom of St George’s Road. There is then a slow steady climb for 1.2 miles to the highest point on the course. Just after the peak of the hill you run through a cross-roads and along an undulating section for 0.5 of a mile. You then run through St George Village and just after the cenotaph turn sharply left at the Kinmel Arms Public House. Run down a short sharp hill (Primrose Hill) and cross the flyover above the A55. Turn left again, now running on the St. Asaph Road, parallel to the A55. Take the second left turn into Hafan Deg running anti-clockwise around the island at the top of the road and then back down, before turning right and then immediately right again to re-cross the A55 and then up a very sharp hill (Quarry Hill) before turning right at the cross roads. Beware, the top of the hill is about 75 meters after you turn right. You are then once again at the highest point of the course and then gently descend until you turn right into the Kinmel Manor hotel. Follow the road through the hotel grounds, turning left to once again run parallel to the A55. You exit the hotel at a roundabout and turn left. After about 100 yards you enter the playing field through a gate, running parallel to the road and finishing just over 50 yards into the field.
